“Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco got stopped by the TSA for the most awkwardly relatable reason

While celebrities often jet-set a lot, it doesn’t mean they’re free from embarrassing airport moments. The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco was once stopped by TSA agents after she accidentally brought not one, but two wine openers on board. So, now we know that Cuoco loves wine.

Cuoco opened up about the encounter on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She said it happened when her and her boyfriend, Karl Cook, were traveling to Australia during the summer.

While she said that Cook often got chosen for pat-downs, this was the first time she was taken out of the line — and literally didn’t know what to do.

"The lady goes, 'Whose bag is this?'" Cuoco said, thinking she'd be getting a compliment on it. "She goes, 'We need to look through your bag,' and I'm like, 'It's Gucci.'"

That’s when the TSA pulled out a wine opener, which yes — could technically double as a weapon. According to the actress, it was the “the arms one.”

But that’s not it. When her other bags were searched, Cuoco said that she had a second wine opener in her makeup bag. Because, well, you always have to be prepared.

"It was like, a tiny one, but somehow subconsciously I like, stuck it in there," she said. "...Oh my god, I'm going to be on a No-Fly list."

Cuoco admitted that she’s a huge drinker, and loves to drink on planes. She also noted that she’s into bourbon now, partially because you don’t need a specific opener to start drinking it.
