Um, so this is why Bieber was kicked out of some ancient ruins

Remember when we were totally drooling over Justin Bieber’s vacation pics a couple weeks ago? I mean, being at a luxurious beach in the middle of winter is pretty much the dream. Well, Biebs has continued his vacation over the past couple weeks and ended up in Mexico. . . but it looks like he got a little *too* into the merriment. Yep, within less than two weeks of the new year, Justin and his friends got kicked out of some ancient ruins. Sigh.

Entertainment Tonight reports that the singer was kicked out of the Mayan archaeological site of Tulum. . . because he pulled his pants down and being rude to the staff members of the site. “I can confirm to you that Mr. Bieber was kicked out of the Tulum archaeological site yesterday,” Adriana Velazquez-Morlet, director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), told ET. “He and his mates pulled his pants down and insulted our staff at the site.”

Apparently, Justin also tried to enter areas in which he wasn’t permitted, and he even tried to climb on the ruins. It doesn’t matter whether Biebs is known all over the world — his nonsense (rightfully) wasn’t tolerated, Velazquez-Morlet added. “We have a very strict policy of conservation and respect of the Mexican cultural heritage that applies equally to all our visitors, whether or not they’re famous,” she told ET.

Although he was pretty uncool at Tulum, he reportedly visited a native Maya ecotourism camp several days before and was “completely respectful,” the Associated Press reports.

“[Justin] expressed a lot of interest in the work we do to preserve the environment,” Nathalie Leño — the spokeswoman for AllTournative, a cooperative effort with Maya communities at a camp called the Jungla Maya Park — told the AP. “He was completely respectful, and he participated in the welcoming ceremony performed by a local shaman. He even ate some of the traditional food prepared by local communities.”

One thing’s for sure: Biebs certainly keeps us on our toes.
