All the Beyoncé your heart requires in one gigantic album

Just when we thought we’d had our Beyoncé fix for the year, she’s hit us with a second serving. Is it possible? Have we hit Bey overload? Isn’t she tired? Aren’t we tired? Oh, hell no. If she’s not, we’re not.

It was announced this week that Beyoncé will be releasing yet another album on November 24th. But before we dive into this, let’s clear up a few discrepancies. This is not entirely a new album. This album is actually a reissue that will be sold as a “Beyoncé Platinum Album” Box Set, which is set to include two CDs and two DVDs. Hold your horses, folks.

Here’s what’s new:
In addition to the existing self-titled Beyoncé album, the reissue will include two more songs, “7/11” and “Ring Off.” The album will also feature four remixes from last year’s album including “Flawless” (feat. Nicki Minaj), “Drunk In Love” (feat. Jay Z & Kanye West), “Blow” (feat. Pharrell) and “Standing on the Sun” (feat. Mr. Vegas). That’s six new songs, total. Phew!

Here’s what’s up with the DVDs:
In addition to the visual album, a second DVD has been added to the box set, highlighting 10 live performances from Beyoncé’s “Mrs. Carter World Tour.” This is a lot of Bey!

There have been bogus reports:
After dropping a surprise album, there’s been an understandable amount of hoopla surrounding this second release. Unfortunately, folks like to do their speculating on the Internet, where loads of misinformation circulate day in and day out. According to the Huffington Post, “A fake track list showed that ‘Beyoncé Vol. 2’ would come out Nov. 25, and included songs like ‘Donk’ (featuring Nicki Minaj) and ‘Cherry’ (featuring Rihanna).” Neither one of these songs seem to appear on the official Box Set lineup, and the release date is still known to be November 24th. Maybe those will be for the re-re-reissue? But seriously folks. . .

This is a potentially wondrous holiday gift:
Do you have a Beyoncé superfan in your life? Consider this for the upcoming holiday season. (Pre-order it here.) I’m sure you’ll be showered in hugs.
