Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Lizzo will speak at the biggest virtual graduation of all—here’s how to watch

Virtual graduations have become the “new normal” amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the celebrity lineup gets bigger and better with each online ceremony. YouTube is pulling out all the stops for its virtual commencement ceremony, “Dear Class of 2020.” On Tuesday, the already stacked lineup had some new names added to the list, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, and the Queen herself (Queen Bey, we mean).

According to Entertainment Tonight, Beyoncé is set to deliver “an inspirational message to the 2020 class,” and it’s safe to say that, graduates or not, we’re already tearing up.

It doesn’t appear that Beyoncé will be singing, but, not to worry, YouTube has the musical performances taken care of with an absolutely stacked concert lineup.

Announced Tuesday, artists like Lizzo, Camila Cabello, Chloe X Halle, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion will give special performances, ET reports. The new announcement also included appearances from Lana Condor, Janelle Monáe, Misty Copeland, Phoebe Robinson, Ciara and Russell Wilson, Yara Shahidi, and more.

To name a few on the long-winded list of previously announced celebrity speakers and performers, President Barack Obama and former first lady Michele Obama, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Malala Yousafzai and Zendaya will also appear.

In the event, 2020 graduates have the opportunity to be more than just members of the remote audience. YouTube is asking for video submissions through the event page here to give graduates a chance to be featured in the live stream. The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 22nd.

To watch the virtual graduation ceremony, head to the live stream on YouTube, which kicks off on June 6th at 3 p.m. Eastern. You can also click the “Set reminder” button on the video to be notified when the event starts and you won’t miss a second of the jam-packed action.
