Beyoncé’s surprise Disney performance made Twitter’s dreams come true
Last night, April 16th, ABC aired The Disney Family Singalong, featuring at-home performances from some of our favorites. Ariana Grande sang “I Won’t Say I’m In Love,” Josh Groban took on “You’ve Got a Friend In Me,” and Demi Lovato joined Michael Bublé for a rendition of “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes.” It was all amazing, and we had tears in our eyes. But we were not prepared for Beyoncé. Her surprise appearance sent Twitter into madness.
Without any warning ahead of time, Beyoncé graced ABC with her presence. The queen sang “When You Wish Upon A Star.” At this point, we were sobbing.
Etherial. Sweet. Angelic. Heavenly. No lyrics were even needed during this segment because no one was singing along. We were all simply entranced by Beyoncé’s beauty, grace, and buttery voice.
TBH, we can’t tell if there’s a glow filter on her video or if she’s actually just glowing to the gods. We’re more apt to believe the latter.

And, of course, the crowd went wild.

ABC didn’t even bother to put the lyrics up for Beyoncé’s song. They said don’t you even THINK about singing when Beyoncé sings!!!!! #DisneyFamilySingalong pic.twitter.com/ANnWHiD9u2

All of a sudden, our fears and anxieties were put to rest. Everything will be okay.
I needed to hear Beyoncé’s voice so bad. I missed her so much. pic.twitter.com/PGU6eZE1Rz

Although Beyoncé, *ahem* in our opinion *ahem*, stole the show, we had so much fun watching the entire collaborative effort.
Ariana Grande didn’t just take on Meg’s part from Hercules’ “I Won’t Say I’m In Love.” She took on the entire background vocal set as well.
Girl brought costumes and props to the show, too. That’s dedication.
MS.ARIANA GRANDE SANG ALL HER PARTS FOR “I WON’T SAY I’M IN LOVE” FOR THE DISNEY SING-A-LONG TONIGHT AND HONESTLY, WHAT A QUEEEEEENNNNNN! GOD IS A WOMAN! SHE DON’T NEED NO HERCULES!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/2jycwRqRzw

Plus, the cast of High School Musical (and friends) reunited to sing “We’re All In This Together,” which was not only extremely nostalgic, but also very apropos for the current state of the world.
The whole high school musical cast singing we're all in this together 🥺🥺 #DisneyFamilySingalong pic.twitter.com/kokUiPqea5

We think this tweet sums up the entire singalong perfectly:

Now, if you don’t mind, we have to go watch Beyoncé sing “When You Wish Upon A Star” on repeat until we have released all of our pent-up emotion.
