This side-by-side of Beyoncé and Blue Ivy at age 7 proves they are identical twins
It’s been seven years since Blue Ivy—firstborn to Queen Bey and Jay-Z—came into our lives, and we’ve been unapologetically obsessed ever since. We track her style, her attitude, and of course, her resemblance to her parents on an almost daily basis. And while we always thought that little Blue was Jay-Z’s clone, a new side-by-side photo of Beyoncé and her daughter—both at age seven—proves that Blue is actually Bey’s mini-me.
On January 24th, Beyoncé herself posted the comparison photos to her Instagram page, writing, “Someone made this comparison of me at age 7 and Blue at age 7. My baby is growing up.”

Uncanny, right? This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed the resemblance. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson, called it out all the way back in 2017.
In a November 2017 interview with Us Weekly, Lawson also noted that Blue is a natural entertainer and has been “performing since birth.” Basically, the apple—or should be say, Ivy—doesn’t fall far from the tree.
