Beyoncé just introduced us to corset pants
The corset trend is nothing new, but Beyoncé just introduced us to a new way to wear this lingerie staple. Say hello to corset pants!
Bey’s been posting outfit pics on Instagram at record speed (hmm, album dropping soon?) and her most recent look hads us tapping the like button, per usual. From wrap tops, to bodycon date night dresses, to a perfectly color-blocked outfit with removable sleeves, we almost can’t keep up with Mrs. Carter.
Her latest #OOTD included on-trend features like a billowy off-the-shoulder crop top and circle handle bag. But it’s the pants we can’t stop staring at. Are those corset pants?
One IG commenter remarked, “I’m not quite sure I understand these pants, but I trust the queen’s judgement.” The pants in question are your average stretch flares, but do we really expect Beyoncé to do basic? She dressed the little black pants up with the Talbot Corset from Australian brand Acler. The $170 cognac-colored corset with black lacing was the perfect finishing piece for the neutral look.
Beyoncé clearly loves the Aussie brand: she wore an origami-style, off-the-shoulder top from Acler just last month to a Broadway play.
