Beyoncé, Ciara, and more celebs sent beautiful messages of congrats to Serena Williams on the birth of her baby girl

It’s always so nice to see a group of people come together and shower each other with love. After Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams announced the birth of their daughter on Friday, all of Williams’ super inspiring and amazing friends sent her messages of congratulations. And not just any old friends, but women such as Beyoncé and Ciara sent congrats messages to Williams, welcoming the tennis pro’s daughter into this crazy world. With that kind of support, well, a girl can go far.

According to Florida news producer Chris Shepard, who was the first to tweet about the baby’s birth on Friday, Williams’ daughter was born at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach and weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz. So tiny! Serena’s sister, Venus, was in Queens, New York for a U.S. Open match  on Friday, and told ESPN reporters, “Obviously I’m super excited. Words can’t describe.”

Although the couple, who announced the pregnancy just a month after announcing their engagement, hasn’t officially confirmed the birth yet or shared a name with fans, this baby girl is already surrounded with tons of love and girl power. Just take a look at who took the time to welcome Serena’s daughter.

BTW, we just realized Rumi and Sir Carter and Baby Williams will all be the same age! Talk about star power!

What a squad those kids’ll make. Others also took to social media to spread the love, too.

Ciara, of course.

Tennis legend Billy Jean King…

And everyone else, really.

Especially Williams’ coach…

We get that he’s excited, but give the woman some time! Williams said earlier this summer that she was excited “for the prize” at the end of the long and tough road of pregnancy. So she’ll probably just want to enjoy her little one for a bit. Then again, rumors are already circulating that she’s not about to give up being a tennis pro just yet. And why should she?

King told Sporting News;

"I think she does want to come back and break records, Serena is all about records now, I can tell that in the way that she speaks. Margaret Court has won 62 grand slam titles. Margaret's won 24 singles titles and I think Serena would like to break that, at least break the singles record of 24 majors."

We’d love to see that happen just as much as we’d like to see pics of this baby girl. All in good time, friends, all in good tine.
