Here’s the best time of day to have sex, according to researchers — and tbh, we’re surprised

We live in a world fascinated by sex. And now, researchers have found the best time of day to have sex. Let’s just say it’s not when you’d think. Now, there is no shortage of research on sex out there. And from how much sex people are having at each stage of their relationship, to the facts behind popular sex myths, to weird things that can happen to your body after sex (that are actually no big deal), we can’t get enough of sex research.

This new study shows that there is a special time of day that people seem to like sleeping with each other.

And really, who knew the morning was so sexy?

That’s right. According to the study that researchers at Forza Supplements in the U.K conducted, the best time of day to have sex is 7:30 a.m. Furthermore, most people said that they enjoy sex first thing in the morning. So if you are a morning person, then this is the perfect thing for you. But the study went further. If you aren’t into waking up early, it’s okay.

Basically, they found that having sex within 45 minutes of waking up was the best time to do it, whether you’re waking up at 6 a.m. or 10 a.m. But really, anytime people are intimate with one another is the best!

While a nice candlelit romp may be your favorite, the researchers at Forza explained that there’s a reason why so many people love morning sex.

"Energy levels are at their highest after a good night's rest," they said, adding, "The rush of endorphins sparked by sex lowers blood pressure and stress levels and makes us feel more upbeat for the rest of the day."

Again, having sex at any time of day is fun. But the researchers were looking at a lot of factors. So go out there and enjoy yourself. But really, try having sex in the morning! Who knows, you might really enjoy it.
