Rihanna’s 2008 song “Take a Bow” is back to inspire our new favorite internet meme

Just when we thought Kylie Jenner‘s “Rise and Shine” and Paul Rudd‘s relatable “Look at Us” were our favorite new memes, Twitter found its latest in Rihanna’s hit song “Take a Bow.” Despite the fact that the breakup track was released over a decade ago, a clip of her singing the lyrics, “That was quite a show / Very entertaining” has gone viral and given the ballad a whole new meaning.

Whether it’s the way she delivers the iconic line or that it’s delivered with the perfect amount of shade, the internet has decided it’s the best way to express love, disgust, and ambivalence toward things such as TV shows, movies, and politics.

It all started when Twitter user @g0ld3nretriever used Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” music video to share their thoughts on Succession. On October 19th, they posted a short clip to illustrate their lack of interest in the popular HBO series.

The meme clearly resonated with people because it didn’t take long for others to join in on the fun by creating their own.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Rihanna has been turned into a meme. Last year, she even turned herself into a meme after fans kept badgering her about her new album.

She posted a photo of herself wiping sweat off her brow alongside the caption, “when your fans keep asking you for new music.”

Also, who can forget the jaw-dropping yellow dress she wore at the 2015 Met Gala that birthed a bevy of hilarious memes? It inspired people to turn the singer into a pizza, Bird Bird, SpongeBob SquarePants, an omelet, and more.

The internet can’t help it, she’s just too Rih-latable.
