People wrote down best compliments they ever received, made us all feel great

There are compliments and then there are those ‘I can’t believe you noticed, that makes me feel so amazing!’ compliments that you Post-It note to your heart for whenever you need a little self-esteem boost. You can probably think of one right now: a sweet comment that lifted you up when you needed it, or perhaps a creative one that just really, really embodied how you wanted to be perceived.

The website A Plus decided to take this whole compliment business a step further by asking a bunch of people about the best compliment they’ve ever received. Their responses were seriously heartwarming. Some were funny, some were adorable–but ALL reminded us we need to give out more compliments. Because, come on, compliments are the best. Here are just some of our faves.
