Congratulations are in order! to Gotham‘s Benjamin McKenzie and Morena Baccarin have gotten married.
The happy couple became engaged seven months ago, just eight months after the birth of their first child together, 15-month-old daughter Frances Laiz. The pair have been linked since 2015, with People confirming that they were dating after they were spotted together at Emmys afterparties. They’ve been working together on Fox’s Gotham since 2014.
Now, according to a report in People, McKenzie and Baccarin have tied the knot. The pair married in a ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn, New York last Friday, which also happened to be Baccarin’s 38th birthday.
According to the report, the pair were joined by close friends and family for the ceremony, which was said to be intimate and small.
While the pair have been happily together for two years, it seems that Ben McKenzie wasn’t always so observant of his now wife. Last month, he told James Corden on the Late Late Show that he actually didn’t remember meeting Baccarin when they encountered each other for the first time on the set of The O.C.
“I apparently blew her off,” he said. “So I’m thinking, ‘What kind of idiot would blow off this gorgeous, beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent, successful woman?’ Then I thought of what kind of boy I was at 25, and [I was] that kind of idiot.”

Prior to the wedding, Baccarin seemed to have a girls’ weekend away with her friends. The actor shared some snaps of her and her pals driving through the desert, and even picking up a little In-N-Out Burger, too.
