Ben & Jerry’s Bob Marley ice cream has arrived — here’s what we know about it

We’ve all found ourselves drooling uncontrollably over a new ice cream flavor, but here’s one that’s truly iconic: A Ben & Jerry’s Bob Marley’s One Love ice cream is officially on a store shelf near you. Sorry to disappoint stoners, but this isn’t a weed-infused ice cream, although Ben & Jerry’s has previously supported the idea.

Fow now, we can only hope that the ice cream brand comes through with a buzz-themed flavor for next year’s 4/20 festivities, but no pressure, Ben & Jerry’s! It’s just that we’ve already incorporated weed into our beauty and skincare routine, so we’re gonna need you to get with the program, STAT.

But more on this Marley ice cream. Per Delish, the One Love pints contain “banana ice cream with caramel swirls, graham crackers, and fudge peace signs.”

Not only is it here to spread the love and make everyone feel alright, a portion of One Love sales from will go toward the One Love Youth Camp, a program in Jamaica run by the Bob Marley Foundation and Partners for Youth Empowerment.

"Bob Marley stood for more than just music – he advocated for social change and inspired millions to think about peace, love, and equality," Ben & Jerry's co-founder Jerry Greenfield said in a press release. "Ben & Jerry's has long strived to champion love and social justice, and by partnering with the Marley family, we're happy to play a small role in supporting Marley's vision for a sweeter world."

This is the best idea ever, and we can’t wait to give it a try. We honestly can’t think of a more fantastic (and tasty) way to celebrate Marley’s musical and charitable legacies.
