These photos of Ben Affleck visiting fans in the hospital make us say “Holy adorableness, Batman!”

Even though our idea of a superhero includes a cape, we cannot forget about regular people doing good. Admittedly, he’s a super-famous actor, but Ben Affleck visited Batman fans in the hospital on his day off. Something we should all admire and try to emulate. In some way. Obviously, we can’t all be Batman.

Fresh off his stint as the caped crusader, Ben surprised many children at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. Obviously, seeing Batman walk through the door would be amazing for anyone (well, maybe not if you’re a supervillain.) Ben joins the ranks of many Hollywood heroes who have donated their time to others.

It’s great to see Bruce Wayne out and about.

In addition to doing this on his day off, Ben Affleck did not make a huge show of his visit. According to Cinemablend, his visit was unannounced and not a press-heavy thing. Though we totally understand celebs needing to maintain reps as good role models, it’s pretty sweet when they go off do-gooding without the press fanfare.

And it’s not his first time.

Ben Affleck is no stranger to charitable action. In addition to supporting several important causes, he is heavily involved with charities promoting women’s rights and protection in Africa. And if helping people wasn’t enough — he also joined in on helping with the conservation and protection of bats.

While we would have loved to see Ben Affleck wear his bat-suit to the hospital, we will settle for watching him wear it on screen. The next time we’ll get a chance is in November of 2017. That’s when Zack Snyder’s Justice League is slated to hit the big screen, and we can’t wait!
