Ben Affleck just gave some *major* compliments to Jennifer Garner, and we think that’s incredibly sweet

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner aren’t all over tabloid covers like they were back in the day — and that’s probably because after rumors of their breakup started taking over, the two were nothing but noble moving forward.  No matter what the status of Affleck and Garner’s relationship is, it’s pretty safe to say that they parent their kids extraordinarily well together, and have managed to let friendship take the wheel. There’s definitely still some love and appreciation there. So hearing Affleck give Garner high praise makes us feel even more incredible about the two.

Affleck chatted up EXTRA while he was on the red carpet for his new movie The Accountant. While he was at the premiere, Garner was busy campaigning for Hillary Clinton.

"She’s in Reno. Doing what she believes in. Which is great. Think it’s awesome. And I’m so impressed by it — her and everything she does, he said. “She’s a great mom and that’s how it is.

Her and everything she does? That’s a line I think all of us would love to hear every once in awhile.

Of course, he chatted next about co-parenting. The two of them have three children —  Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel — and they’re all planning on spending Halloween together.

"We both take them trick or treating, he said. "I’m not gonna dress up this year. I’m gonna go as Dad."

It’s nice to know that things are as normal as they can be in the Garner/Affleck household. We’re sure their family is going to stay strong, regardless of what happens in the future.
