Ben Affleck goes to Taylor Swift concerts so he’s basically the coolest dad ever
The coolest dad award goes to Ben Affleck for going to Taylor Swift concerts! Oh, and he thinks she’s a “role model,” which makes us love him even more.
When Affleck appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, he officially won us over as the greatest dad based on his love of Taylor Swift.
“I’ve become an expert on the tweens. I don’t know how much Radio Disney you listen to, but I hear quite a bit,” Affleck told Ellen DeGeneres about life with an 11-year-old daughter (Violet).
"When we get in the car, it’s got to come on right away. It’s got to stay on the whole time," he explained. "I hear a lot about the romantic adventures of Disney characters who are on the Disney Channel, and we go to Taylor Swift concerts. And that’s my life."
Some people might think Affleck’s role as Batman would make him cool, but we’re all about his Swift concert going. In fact, the 44-year-old actor revealed that he doesn’t mind going to the “Bad Blood” singer’s concerts, because he gets it!
“Taylor Swift is great, by the way,” he said on the show. “She’s a great role model!” We totally agree.
Even though Affleck is clearly a fan, when he played the “5 Second Rule” game with DeGeneres he could not name three of the singer’s tunes.
“Uh…1989?” he guessed. “I Still Love You? The John Mayer Thing? Come on! She’s amazing. I love Taylor Swift. I’m blanking.”
Ah, so close, yet so far! We still love you Ben, and your love for the one-and-only Taylor Swift.
