Bella Thorne wants to set the record straight about Scott Disick, Charlie Puth, and Tyler Posey
In a recent interview with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM podcast The Jenny McCarthy Show, Bella Thorne got super real about Scott Disick, her relationship with Tyler Posey, and what happened with Charlie Puth.
The actress has previously denied the rumors that linked her and Disick after pictures of the pair hanging out in Cannes emerged back in May.
While the 19-year-old said that her and the 34-year-old reality TV star were just friends in an interview with Complex, that didn’t stop speculation about their relationship from continuing, especially when they were spotted partying together in Miami earlier this month.
Now, speaking on The Jenny McCarthy Show, Bella has cleared up speculation again, denying that anything happened between her and Disick.
After being flat-out asked whether she had been with him “sexually,” Thorne had one thing to say.
"I was never with him sexually."
The former Disney star also said that she hadn’t felt any pressure from the Kardashian-Jenner clan to stop being friends with Disick.
“I’ve never seen Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Thorne said. “I saw one episode when I first started talking to Scott, and some people were like, ‘You’ve got to see who he is,’ and I said, ‘I don’t want to.’”
In the same interview, the star also got super candid about her breakup with Tyler Posey and her relationship with Charlie Puth.
“Honestly, [Tyler Posey] and I stopped dating and that was really difficult for me,” she admitted. “It was definitely one of the hardest breakups I’ve been through.”
Continuing, Thorne said that she actually just became friendly with Charlie Puth following the breakup. She also explained away those tweets sent out by the “Attention” singer that seemed to show him apologizing to Posey, noting it had all been a misunderstanding.
“Everything just got way blown out of proportion. We weren’t even kissing in that photo,” she said, referring to a picture of her and Puth holding hands. “That photo makes it look like we’re about to kiss and we’re straight-up not about to kiss.”
"Charlie saw an old news article and he didn’t look at the date. And the date is old and it’s about me and Ty," she added. "In Charlie‘s defense, when he read it, it sounded like it was about me and Ty still being together. So he didn’t even text me or talk to me about it…I kept calling him. Wouldn’t answer my calls. Then he just starts texting me…He should have just called me, Charlie."
Hopefully, now that Bella Thorne has opened up about what’s been going down and told her side of the story, she’ll be able to move on from the incident last year. It sounds like she’s made peace with what happened, and that she’s moving forward, which is all we can hope for. As long as she’s happy, we’re happy.
