Bella Thorne says it’s tricky to navigate dating when you’ve newly come out as bisexual
Bella Throne is all about being super honest as she tries to figure out this thing called ~life~. Ever since Thorne came out as bisexual, she says it has been tricky navigating her dating life. Now, she’s opening up about dating, and what it’s like to do so in the public eye.
In a recent interview for the Harper’s Bazaar website, Thorne channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe and talked all about her personal life.
Ever since the former Disney Channel actress came out as bisexual in 2016 her love life has been even more public. That being said, the 19-year-old actress is still learning to navigate her sexuality and the dating game.
“I’ve done other stuff with girls, but I want to actually date a girl,” Thorne told Harper’s Bazaar online.
"I can't tell if a girl is hitting on me or she just wants to be friends," she explained. "And I don't want to flirt with a girl if she thinks I'm just being her friend. What if I kiss a girl and she's like, 'Oh, I'm just your friend dude, I can't believe you just crossed that boundary.'"
“I’m confused on what they want from me,” she added.
Although she knows being in the public eye is part of the deal of being a star, she struggles with the lack of privacy…especially when it comes to dating. As of now, however, Thorne is very single.
“I’m single as fuck. I could not be more single. This is the longest I’ve been super single,” she revealed.
"There are so many unwritten rules about dating which I don't like," she continued. "I'd rather be super faithful and give my all to one person. I don't like having my phone blown up by a bunch of different guys where I don't really know where I stand with any of them. It sucks."
Clearly Thorne is just like us, trying to figure out the dating game.
