Bella Thorne opened up about her celeb crush, and it’s totally relatable
We all have that one celeb who we crush hard over, and it seems that, even if you yourself are a celebrity, that doesn’t stop you from developing one, too. In fact, Bella Thorne admitted that she crushes on Kirsten Stewart, and it’s 100% relatable.
The 19-year-old actor recently did a 1950s style Marilyn Monroe shoot for Harper’s Bazaar online in which she also gave an interview where she touched on various topics, including speaking up about mental health and suicidal thoughts. The former Disney star also talked about dating, too. Thorne recently came out as bisexual, and spoke about the difficulties that she’s faced since that experience.
However, that didn’t stop the Bella Thorne from sharing her celebrity crush, and it’s someone we totally agree on.
In the interview, the actor spoke about how difficult she had found it dating.
“I’ve done other stuff with girls, but I really want to actually date a girl,” she shared. “I can’t tell if a girl is hitting on me or she just wants to be friends. And I don’t want to flirt with a girl if she thinks I’m just being her friend. What if I kiss a girl and she’s like ‘Oh, I’m just your friend dude, I can’t believe you just crossed that boundary.’ I’m confused on what they want from me.”
When quizzed in the interview about whom she might want to get to know a bit better than more than just friends, Thorne noted that there was one particular individual that she wouldn’t mind dating: Kristen Stewart.
"She's so hot. She seems like the raddest chick, I'd be so down," she admitted.
Dating, of course, can be a tricky thing to manoeuvre, but we love how frank and honest Thorne is. In fact, the star said that she believes that honesty is the best policy in all walks of life.
“The world needs more honesty,” she said. “I’ve lied my whole life about who I am and who I’m trying to be, so now, I like to keep it real. I have problems like every person, so if I can help somebody else then that’s fucking dope.”
Ah, we actually think Bella and Kristen would make a dope couple, don’t you. However, Kristen is said to be currently dating Stella Maxwell, so it seems that Bella is a bit out of luck at the moment (although we’re sure she’s made up for the happy couple).
Regardless, it’s refreshing to see someone in the public eye speak openly about their experiences, and we totally applaud Bella Thorne for opening up and sharing her life with us.
