One of the many great things about three day weekends is having more free time to brainstorm new ink. Just ask Bella Hadid, who got matching angel wing tattoos on her ankles to kick off her MLK long weekend in minimalist style.
The 20-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, whose name has been in the press a lot these days thanks to her breakup from The Weeknd — who, of course, was recently spotted getting hot and heavy with Selena Gomez — went to the West Village, NYC-based tattoo artist Jon Boy to get two dainty black-and-white wing tats on the inside of her ankles on Sunday. And even though it was probably painful as hell, we’re suddenly in the mood to go under the needle?

Bella was in New York to (belatedly) celebrate her mom Yolanda Foster’s birthday with a dinner on Sunday, January 15th. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared a paparazzi photo of her squad — which, of course, also includes Bella’s big sis Gigi — enjoying a “girls night” in all black ensembles in the Big Apple.
So, basically what we’re saying is…who needs The Weeknd when you’re busying having the best weekend ever with your family?
