BEHR predicts that these colors will be huge in home decor next year
Behr announced that “In The Moment” — which they describe as “a restorative blue-green hue that honors nature and serves as a serene backdrop to spaces where you unwind and recharge” — will be ~the~ color of 2018 home decor.
Erika Woelfel, vice president of color and creative services at Behr, says the combo of spruce blue, soft gray, and lush green in one shade evokes “a sense of sanctuary and relaxation for people — aiding in our society’s desire to disconnect and be present.”
She said:
“In The Moment speaks to our society’s desire to disconnect and be present. Spruce blue, soft gray and lush green coalesce into a fresh shade that evokes a sense of sanctuary and relaxation amid our always-on lives. In The Moment crosses multiple design styles — global, coastal, modern — and pairs well with other subdued colors to create harmony for interiors or exteriors.
