This Sheet Mask Feels Like a Hot Stone Massage for My Face
It's been a long time since a beauty product has made me feel so relaxed.
Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it’s been a minute since I’ve been to a professional salon for a facial or massage. I understand and respect the need for social distancing and other security measures, but I do miss my pampering. Although I have several face masks and oils that I've been rotating as replacements, no at-home product has actually felt spa-worthy—except for the Snow Fox Hot Stone Facial Mask.
The Snow Fox Hot Stone Facial Mask is a self-warming sheet mask that has skin-friendly ingredients like brightening niacinamide, hydrating glycerin, and soothing aloe vera. What’s great about the self-warming ability is that it helps open up and loosen your pores so that the ingredients can better penetrate your skin. When used alone, the mask feels incredible, but the brand also sells a Gua Sha that you can use on top of the face mask to get a spa-worthy feel. It acts as a hot stone when warmed up beforehand, so talk about an at-home luxe experience.

Before applying the Snow Fox Hot Stone Facial Mask, make sure to cleanse your skin so that you get rid of any lingering buildup or makeup that could block the ingredients from penetrating your pores. Then, take out the sheet mask and place it on your face. If you’re using the stone (which is made of volcanic glass), run it under hot water or place it in a bowl filled with hot water so that it heats up enough to be warm but not too hot. Then, take the stone and gently press it against the mask and glide it along your face to give yourself that “hot stone facial” feeling. Keep the mask on for 20 minutes and don’t wash your face—let your skin soak up the rest of the serum.
After using it, your skin will feel more hydrated and healthier, and it’ll look glowier, too. What makes the Snow Fox Hot Stone Facial Mask even better is that the mask is made of biodegradable material, so you can easily compost it. Spa-worthy skincare that’s good for the planet? Sign me up!
