September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and this is what one major skin care brand is doing to help
We love seeing our favorite beauty brands doing their part to raise awareness for important causes — it makes us feel great about knowing that our money is going to companies that care about people and do their part to give back. Dr. Brandt Skincare is spreading the word about Suicide Prevention Awareness Month with the Dr. Brandt Foundation #SayILoveYou campaign on social media.
The Dr. Brandt Foundation is a non-profit that was established to honor the legacy of Dr. Frederic Brandt after the acclaimed celebrity dermatologist died by suicide in 2015. And this particular campaign raises funds and awareness for the fight against suicide and depression. It’s always immensely helpful when a brand with a large platform dedicates its power to spread the love.
To support the campaign, the Foundation is launching the Dr. Brandt #SayILoveYou skin care kit for $38.
The kit comes in a lovely tote bag that is adorned with a bright red heart.
The kit contains some of Dr. Brandt Skincare’s best-selling products: Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer, Mini Microdermabrasion, Pores No More Luminizer Primer Sample Packet, and a temporary heart tattoo that is just perfect for selfies.
Share the love and spread the word about Dr. Brandt’s #SayILoveYou campaign on social media.
A percentage of the proceeds from the kits will go to the Dr. Brandt Foundation.
While talking about suicide and depression can be difficult, it can save lives. A tote bag or a selfie could inspire a conversation with a loved one you didn’t know was suffering. Head on over to Dr. Brandt and learn more.
