Shadow Shields is proving that makeup can be a powerful tool in spreading kindness
Did you know that today, November 13th, is World Kindness Day?
Well, if you weren’t already aware, hopefully now you’ll be able to set aside a moment to send a sweet letter to a friend, help a stranger with their chores, or just let a loved one know how much they matter. These unofficial holidays can arrive at seemingly random times, but they still give us the excuse to do something thoughtful, which is always a win.
This year, one particularly fun way to celebrate World Kindness Day is by participating in the Shadow Shields Little Lifts campaign. Starting today and ending November 30th, the beauty brand is encouraging followers to use the hashtag #littlelifts on social media (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook).
The campaign is meant to motivate you to lift others up, little by little. Shadow Shields wants you to document an act of kindness — maybe it’s volunteering, helping a neighbor with their chores, or paying for a stranger’s meal.
At the end of the campaign, Shadow Shields will pick the most inspirational entries and followers will vote for the winner.
The ultimate winner will receive a beauty goodie bag worth almost $500 filled with fan-favorite products.
Brands will include Morphe, Real Techniqus, the Balm, FaceTory, Not Your Mothers, and Tatcha to name a few.
During the course of the campaign, Shadow Shields will be selling a two-pack of its 30-count pouches for the price of one. For every two-pack sold, the brand will donate $1 to the non-profit Random Acts.
