Congratulations are in order for Selena Gomez. Today, July 22nd, she celebrates her 28th birthday. Though the pandemic may be slightly getting in the way of the festivities, there's still plenty to celebrate. Not only is she the founder of her own beauty line Rare Beauty coming out this summer, but she also executive produced the movie The Broken Hearts Gallery, which came out on July 17th. Over the years, with every big move the star has made, we’ve witnessed her beauty and style evolve at the same time. And if one thing is clear, her makeup and fashion choices get better and better with time.

From ultra glossy lips in the early aughts, to sexy, smoky eyes now, to going blonde for the first time, Gomez continues to surprise us. We wanted to see just how much her look has changed since Wizards of Waverly Place, so we rounded some of her favorite beauty moments. Keep scrolling for a Gomez-sponsored trip down memory lane along with some great looks to bookmark for inspiration.
