Say what? Sarah Jessica Parker's new perfume was inspired by men's B.O.
Sarah Jessica Parker can do no wrong. She’s a Met Gala phenomenon, a humanitarian, and does it all in amazing shoes. Her new fragrance campaign is a departure from the tutu-clad Carrie Bradshaw we know and love. It’s woodsy, it’s smokey, it’s got… body odor?
No that’s not just one finicky nose’s opinion, Sarah said so herself. Her new scent, Stash, has notes of body odor (if that’s even a thing) and she’s proud of it. She told The Coveteur, “Can you smell like, all the smoke? All the dark wood and body odor. It’s old and sexy, like a sweater from a guy who was on the Eurorail too long or something. Do you know what I mean?”
The unisex fragrance also smells of leather, cognac, and body odor, she reiterated. What exactly is a “body odor” scent? Isn’t B.O. different from one person to the next? Well, according to SJPbeauty.com, Stash is made up of the following: cedarwood atlas, vetiver, pistachio, grapefruit zest, black pepper, sage, patchouli, ginger lily, olibanum, massoia wood, and musk.
Is there a special way one should apply such a scent? Nope. SJP admits to spraying it on her hat, coat, and all over her clothes and skin. If you’re as curious to smell this as I am you can shop Stash at SJP Beauty or at Ulta when it launches August 28th.
