I just found paradise, and it’s in this cloud. A tourist in Jamaica was out and about when she spotted something truly amazing, and posted the image to the Weather Channel’s Facebook page in search of an explanation. So, it appears to be a rainbow swirling inside of a cloud. And if there wasn’t this picture (and many others, for proof) you’d think this phenomenon was dreamed up by a talented artist. But it’s so not.

Here’s what Beckie Bone Dunning, the tourist who spotted it all, posted:

It instantly inspired other users to post their own experiences with this crazy, beautiful thing, and the Internet collectively exploded into a world of cloudy, firey rainbow hearts.

Metro UK has an explanation for what makes it look so amazing:

If you head over to the comments on the post, you can see a slew of photos of this awesome rainbow, but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen some seriously mind-blowing stuff in the sky. There was that quadruple rainbow back in April or the lightning bolt hitting a rainbow back in August. In this crazy world of fancy technology and high-tech creations, it’s nice to know we can still see something just as wonderful simply by looking up.
