Let’s think about some of the world’s most perfect pairings: peanut butter and jelly, movies and popcorn, cookies and milk. Now for a perfect pairing that probably doesn’t come immediately to mind: How about, pizza and nail polish. It’s one of those things that the more you think about it, the better it sounds. Actually, it might be one of the best ideas of our time. Why shouldn’t pizza and nail polish be a thing?

Thankfully, Pizza Hut Australia feels the same way and they made this unlikely (yet perfect) union a reality. Tying into the ultimate day of love, Valentine’s Day, Pizza Hut held a contest to write the best pizza inspired poetry — pizza love poems abounded.

The “cheesiest” poems got a collection of pizza-inspired nail polish as a prize, and the polish set includes colors like colors, “Dough You Need Me,” “Meat Me After Midnight,” and “Voracious Veggie.”

Ok, first thing: I’m mad I didn’t realize that there was a contest to draft up an ode to my beloved pizza, because I compose sonnets for pizza literally every day of my life.

Second thing: Please make this nail polish available to consumers everywhere.

Only 30 sets of the nail polish were created, and all 30 sets have now been gifted away to those lucky pizza poem contest winners (you can read some more of the winning poems here, and they’re great). Sadly, it does not appear that the nail polish tastes like pizza — you know, if you happen to accidentally bite your nails, or something — nor does it smell like fresh pizza, BUT IT SHOULD.

If you’re listening Pizza Hut, we need these little colorful polish bottles in our lives. We can’t wait until next Valentine’s Day for another contest. We want to do big things with this nail polish. Now all you have to do is sell it at drugstores everywhere. Please and thank you!
