We cannot get enough of the amazing historical beauty videos that have taken the Internet by storm. Whether it’s sharing the most popular wedding looks of the past century or giving us a glimpse at the way fashion has evolved in countries around the world, we are always excited to see what the next one has in store! Right now, we’re loving this decades-spanning glimspe at Mexican beauty looks.

The video clocks in at just under two minutes, and covers the 1940s through the 1990s. Created by Buzzfeed’s Top Knot, it doesn’t just show the transformations; it also names them. But they aren’t in chronological order, so pay attention!

From the Chicana activists of the 1960s and the LA punks of the 2000s to the glam Pachuca Chulas and Boulevard Queens of the 1950s, the video covers the evolution of fashion subcultures over the years. And it helps that the awesome model in the video adds her own personal interpretation of the identities, making each look really come to life!
