The brand’s been doing makeup for ages now, but this is their first sustainably-created unisex fragrance line. H&M has been busy expanding their eco-friendly reach, and spring promises even more in the beauty and apparel departments.
The scents are formulated to go together so you can layer them without smelling like you’ve been standing at the perfume counter for hours, spraying yourself with every imaginable scent. The oils come in roll-on bottles, for maximum mixability and easy application.
Versatile, enticing, and environmentally responsible? Yes, please!
The oils come in three distinct scent families: floral, woodsy, and fresh. Romantic Rouge Pivoine is the floral, marrying notes of bergamot, rose, pear, peony, geranium, freesia, tea, and cedar. Vert Douce gives us wood with its notes of sweet orange, galbanum, elemi, green leaves, rose, tea leaves, cedar, and cypress. Fresh scent Lemon Amour is built from notes of orange, lemon, bergamot, lemongrass, lime, apricot, melon, and guaiacum. Got all that?
Mmmmmm, minimalist design…
Feel good about your consumption — the new oils are certified organic by Ecocert, an organic certification association. To certify a product as organic, Ecocert determines that at least 95% of the product’s ingredients are from natural origin (including water), and at least 10% of the ingredients are produced via organic farming.
The illustrations from the ad campaign are so dreamy!
In a press release sent to Hello Giggles, Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative director said:
“I love the Conscious Exclusive organic perfume oils, which capture the inspiration that we found in the human senses. Each of the three scents is beautiful on its own and creates something totally unique and personal when combined together.[/header]
Our noses are ready to meet these fragrances already!
The H&M Conscious Exclusive beauty collection organic unisex perfume oils will be available and at select H&M stores beginning April 20th. (Nice.)
