This is the brush set you need for all of the prismatic highlighters coming out
Sigma Beauty is releasing a three-piece Highlight Expert Brush Set to make highlighting much, much, MUCH easier. Especially if you just can’t get the hang of a fan brush — they do take a little getting used to.
The way we see it, we’ve got a lot of highlighter releases to look forward to. There’s Huda Kattan’s highlighter palette, Becca’s purple prismatic highlighter, Too Faced’s crystallized Love Light highlighters, the epic re-release of Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess, and whatever Pat McGrath and Kim Kardashian are cooking up. We want glowy, radiant skin, and this trend isn’t going anywhere.
If you’re already a highlight connoisseur but you can’t seem to get your strobe on, it might be your brushes. So, how about you treat yourself to a brush set specifically meant to up your highlight game. Sigma’s new collection drops February 20th and will be priced at $54.
From left to right there is F03, F56, and F37.
F03 is the High Cheekbone Highlighter. It’s fluffy but firm and works with creams and powders. It’s the smallest of the bunch and would work best on your super pigmented highlighters that you want to apply in a controlled motion, and on the high planes of your cheeks. If you like to play with super frosted shades like ColourPop’s “Stole the Show” highlighter, this brush is your best friend.
F56 is the Accentuate Highlighter created to hug cheekbones. If you use a highlighter that’s buildable and looks best when buffed into the skin, use this one.
Sigma beauty named F37 the Spotlight Duster. It’s designed for powder highlights only and has a tapered design for precision. Like to layer? Use this to make sure your highlights are stacked to perfection.
If you plan on taking your highlight game up a notch with loose highlighters, we highly suggest upping your brush game as well. Loose highlighters can be super messy and difficult to brush off if you happen to apply them in the wrong area.
Sigma Beauty’s new Highlight Expert Brush set makes loose formulas easier to work with, even if you’re a newbie. Sigma Beauty’s Loose Shimmers and Loose Glitters come in a variety of shades and are only 12 bucks each.
