Ever since the Kylie Lip Kits first came out, Kylie Jenner’s makeup company Kylie Cosmetics has been dishing out all kinds of new products. Their latest creation is a highlighter, but there are some customers who are having problems with their Kylighter orders: when they receive their Kylighter in the mail, the box is completely empty. Needless to say, they’re not very happy about it.

This has happened to enough people to warrant attention. Imagine what a disappointment this must be for customers. They’re excited to receive their makeup and try out their new Kylighter, only to unwrap the packaging and find that the Kylighter box is empty. These unlucky customers have taken to Twitter to spread the news.

Yikes. They’re receiving the Kylighter compact, except the actual highlighter is missing. Just so we’re all caught up, here’s what the Kylighter is supposed to look like when it’s brand new.

The empty highlighter they’re receiving is a complete waste of money, so it’s no wonder they’re so upset. Much to everyone’s surprise, Kylie Cosmetics actually responded to this scandal — they don’t have the best track record when it comes to customer service — by responding to one disgruntled customer’s tweet.

We’re not sure if this customer has received the new highlighter yet, but we’ll keep you updated on the story.

Hopefully Kylie Cosmetics will step up their game, because they’ve been under fire for a lot of different customer service issues since they first came on the scene. For example, last year the Better Business Bureau rated Kylie Cosmetics an “F” because they failed to respond to all the customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed that Kylie Cosmetics fixes up this highlighter problem ASAP, because opening up an empty highlighter case may be one of the most disappointing things we’ve ever heard of in the makeup world.
