We are firm believers that you can never have enough lipsticks, and the perfect way to get more is by picking up a lip palette with multiple shades in one handy little place. Urban Decay is launching Patrick Nagel-inspired lip palettes, and our ’80s hearts are absolutely thrilled about it.
Patrick Nagel was an artist and illustrator whose work drew strongly from the art deco movement. He’s most known for his work with beloved music group Duran Duran, for whom he designed the cover of their insanely popular album, Rio. His work features strong, fierce women, so it’s the perfect complement for these fierce lip palettes.
The Urban Decay x Patrick Nagel collaboration will feature three different lip palettes, and they’ll be available on October 23rd.
Each of the palettes will contain five different shades. Let’s take a look, shall we?
1Nagel Lipstick Palette in Rio
2Nagel Lipstick Palette in Untitled
3Nagel Lipstick Palette in Sunglasses
They each cost $28 and feature five vibrant lip shades.
Urban Decay is all about creating exciting, bold makeup for powerful women, so a collaboration with Patrick Nagel’s work is a perfect match.
After the success of past artist collaborations like the gorgeous Basquiat line, we aren’t surprised to see Urban Decay taking inspiration once more from an iconic artist. The brand’s vibrant shades and commitment to creating gorgeous products that make wearers feel incredible and strong is what makes UD so special. And we can all certainly agree that makeup is an art form itself.
