Our elastic heart is bursting, thanks to the upcoming Sia and MAC Viva Glam collab.
In honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st, the enigmatic Australian musician and the iconic makeup brand have teamed up to help people living with HIV/AIDS. The product is a gorgeous warm red lipstick that’ll flatter anyone.
It’s the first Viva Glam campaign for the powerhouse-yet-mysterious artist. MAC, of course, collabs with everyone from cartoon characters to influencers to makeup world luminaries like Patrick Starrr.
The campaign images feature Sia in her signature wig (sigwig?) rocking the red lippie.
All proceeds from this collection (and other Viva Glam products) go toward ending HIV/AIDS. Over the years, the company has raised almost $500 million. Its brave and original campaigns have featured superstars like RuPaul and Nicki Minaj, to name a few.
World AIDS Day is this coming Friday but the lipstick won’t be out until January 25th, 2018. We’ll just have to bump her Christmas album in the meantime.
To share your support for the campaign, use the hashtag #VIVAGLAM and share a pic of yourself wearing the lipstick and be sure to tag @MACcosmetics, #MACCares, and #WorldAIDSDay to help spread awareness for the cause.
Oh Sia, always so mysterious and glam.
A bright, bold red that’s as strong as Sia’s voice.
The singer put her stamp on the signature MAC black box.
Even if we can’t quite hit the chandeliers with our karaoke high note attempts, we can at least look the part!
MAC Viva Glam Sia will be available online and in MAC stores January 25, 2018.
