One thing’s for sure when it comes to Kylie Jenner: Her makeup line has made many a headline over the last year. Kylie Cosmetics has been accused of simply rebranding ColourPop’s liquid matte into the Kylie Lip Kits, copying the photography work of Vlada Haggerty, and not offering the greatest customer service help when things go wrong with an order. In fact, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) graded Kylie Cosmetics a big, fat F after seeing how Kylie’s team handles business.

There are even more disgruntled customers these days, and this time the complaints are all about Kylie’s Royal Peach Palette, which is her latest eyeshadow palette to be released via Kylie Cosmetics. From the pictures you see online, you wouldn’t really think there’s anything wrong with it, but it’s not the way it looks that people are upset about. They’re really pissed off about the way it smells.

Apparently, there’s nothing peachy about the scent of this palette. Rather than a fruity aroma, customers are grossed out by a potent smell of chemicals that comes from it. One person even compared it to “spray paint.” We doubt anybody wants anything remotely resembling spray paint to come close to their eyelids.

A lot of people are tweeting directly to Kylie and demanding to know what this is all about. They paid good money for the product — it costs $45, and that doesn’t even include shipping. Unfortunately, nobody has heard anything from the Kylie camp yet in response to these complaints. That doesn’t mean that Kylie isn’t listening though. Last in April when Kylie Cosmetics was getting called out for their wonky gloss brushes, she sent her fans a very passionate response, vowing to do better:

So, we totally have faith that the reality TV star and business woman will at least hear her fans out. For the most part, it seems like consumers are MOSTLY happy. After all, the Royal Peach Palette is sold out on the Kylie Cosmetics website.
