We recently told you about celebrity makeup artist Kandee Johnson’s new collaboration with Sinful Colors and we had the chance to check out the polishes IRL at a super adorable private party in NYC.

The pink-haired YouTube vlogstar was the guest of honor at a shindig at the Beauty Bar in Manhattan to celebrate the launch of her exclusive collection with Sinful Colors. The event was a candy-colored dream! Cocktails in Kandee’s signature pink hue were created just for the event and served garnished with pink rock candy swizzle sticks. A full “Kandee bar” was installed, with jars full of chocolate-covered caramel balls, black-and-white custom lollipops, gumballs, and tiny star-like Japanese candies.

Candy sticks…for swizzle!

A squad of nail artists were on hand to offer complimentary accent nails to attendees, while the groovy disco tunes played in the background. A cotton candy machine provided edible props for the photo booth, where Kandee posed for pics with guests, bloggers, and even an adorable pooch!

The lady of the hour.

Nail artists used colors from the collection to paint mini masterpieces on guests’ fingers.

Kandee designed two separate collections for the affordable polish brand. “Pretty Vintage” includes twelve shades in sugar and matte finishes, inspired by retro pin-up styles and the kitchens of sassy 1950s housewives. “Vintage Anime” is comprised of 12 shiny, edgy, metallic, and glitter shades that reflect street style and pop culture.

Gift bags with all 24 of the shades from the two collections were passed out to guests at the end of the night. We’re so excited to swatch all of the colors, which will gradually hit mass-market retailers (including Walgreens and Walmart) between now and April.

Kandee cuddles the adorable puppy @pompomcharlie because dogs need nails too!

Photobooth fun!

Cutest cocktails ever!

In the words of Kandee, “Oh. My. Awesome!”

You can shop the collection at your local Walgreens and drugstore. Take a peek at Sinful Colors’ website to see if anything strikes your fancy!
