Adventures are meant to be documented. When you’re doing something that you’ve never done before, you probably shouldn’t be live-tweeting it, you should be fully engaged in your surroundings. However, when it comes to events that you’ll want to share with your grandchildren, your memories won’t be enough.

You should experience whatever it is, and then find a way to capture it as a keepsake. Some take pictures. Some write it all down. Personally, I like to write down every sensory detail. And doing that usually requires more than 140 characters.

Enter Uzma Travel Journals from Raven + Lily. These gems hold 40 pages of 100% handmade recycled cotton paper and textiles by marginalized women in Northern India. Proceeds from this collection go to fund literacy programs for the women artisans and children in the community.
