While summer may not officially be over yet (the first day of fall isn’t until September 23rd), it certainly does feel like the days of weekends spent at the beach are over for another long year. But that also means it’s time to update our fall wardrobe (farewell, prairie dresses and cute sandals)—and that includes our beauty wardrobe, too. No longer can we get away with calling sunscreen and sweat our signature scent. It’s time to invest in a fall fragrance for 2019, and we’re here to help.

Below are some of the newest launches in fall fragrance, ranging from sugary and sweet, to spicy and warm, and everything in-between. There’s a couple of unisex offerings from major fashion houses, a totally new celebrity perfume line launching this month (!), and even a new-to-North-America brand that’s led by a beauty industry icon.

Shop our picks for the best new fall fragrances of 2019, below.

1Dior Spice Blend

Dior

Inspired by perfumer François Demachy’s memories of Bay Rum (the iconic aftershave lotion), which would sit on the shelf of his father’s pharmacy when he was a child, Dior’s Spice Blend is a warm, woody, unisex fragrance that’s as cozy as it is, well, spicy.

2Watier by Lise Watier

Lise Watier

The Canadian brand’s first brand new addition to its fragrance lineup in almost 25 years is a blend of blood orange, pink pepper, vanilla bourbon, and musk. The fresh, uplifting, and somehow still smoky and sensual scent is perfect for fall.

3Floral Street Ylang Ylang Espresso

Floral Street

This UK brand just landed in North America and is the newest creation of founder Michelle Feeney, who was previously the VP of Global Communications of MAC Cosmetics, spearheading genius campaigns like the AIDS Fund and Viva Glam initiatives (you may have heard of them). Now, she’s set her sights on creating unique fragrances that are affordable, modern, and sustainably made. This warm and spicy blend is a standout.

Supermodel Lily Aldridge is launching a fragrance line this month that’s inspired by the gardens she cares for in her Nashville home. The first launch, Haven, is a gorgeous floral blend that’s housed in packaging that’s either biodegradable, sustainably sourced, or made of recycled materials.

5Prada Candy Night

Nordstrom

Love Prada Candy? The latest edition is a sultry, indulgent blend of chocolate, caramel, white musk, and bitter orange.

6Gucci Mémoire d’une Odeur Eau de Parfum

Sephora

You didn’t think we’d leave out the Harry Styles-fronted new Gucci fragrance, did you? The latest launch from the brand also happens to be its first unisex fragrance. Or, as the brand’s marketing material states, it’s “a perfume unassigned with a gender or a time.” With notes of chamomile, jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood, this earthy scent is perfect for chillier temperatures.

7Ouai North Bondi Eau de Parfum

Nordstrom

The limited edition scent from Jen Atkin’s hair brand is inspired by Australia, with its floral blend of bergamot, Italian lemon, rose de mai, violet and white musk.
