1Origins Hello, Calm! Face Mask, $28

Origins

Gonna be real, I love anything with weed in it (lol), so I was instantly intrigued when I saw this Origins face mask. Don’t worry, you won’t get high if you put it on your face. Instead, your skin will feel hydrated and soothed, thanks to the omega-rich cannabis sativa oil. It’s become my new favorite Sunday night mask. Plus, it’s green, so I look like the sexy Gremlin if I put it on while I’m wearing red lipstick.—Marie

2Milk Makeup Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in CEO, $22

Sephora

I’m a sucker for brown pencil liners, and this one has become one of my faves. It glides on the lids like buttah! Not only is it creamy, but it’s super pigmented. The waterproof formula keeps on all day and night, so I never have to worry about it coming off at any point in the day. When I’m feeling spicy, I like to smudge out the outer corner of my eyes with the liner’s smudging sponge. It gives it a sultry, lived-in look.—Alyssa

3Kat Von D Beauty Ink Well Long-Wear Matte Eyeliner, $20, and Liner X, $20

Kat Von D Beauty

I’m a hardcore KVD Tattoo Liner fan, so I’ve been waiting with bated breath for this matte liner to come out. I like how pigmented the formula is, and I especially love that the felt tip is fine enough to get right into the lash line when creating a cat-eye. It’s a goddamn dream! Plus, it comes in other colors like red, blue, burgundy, and white. I can’t wait to use them all!

Also, I gotta give a shoutout to Liner X, which technically isn’t a new release, but is MAJOR and rocking my world right now. Basically, Kat Von D Beauty released a limited first batch of a mysterious, new, unnamed liquid liner and is asking for customers’ input on the product before it officially launches. It glides right on, is very pigmented even though it’s not matte like Inkwell, and lasts all day. I’ve been using it for more than a week and haven’t used anything since. If you’re a winged-eye gal like moi, I implore you to get both of these liners right away.—Marie

4Kiehl's Herbal-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water, $28

Sephora

When it comes to micellar water, I usually steer clear. I find that they irritate my sensitive skin, and I’m left with patches of redness. That’s why I was skeptical about using the Kiehl’s one at first. I’m so glad I bit my tongue, because this micellar water actually works wonders. It’s gentle enough for my skin, yet it removes the gunk, dirt, and oil my face picked up that day. If anything, my skin feels moisturized and smooth after I use it. My negative thoughts about micellar water have been erased, thanks to this Kiehl’s product.—Alyssa

5La Mer The Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation SPF 20, $120

Nordstrom

First things first: La Mer reigns the skin care world, so you know its makeup will feel great on your skin. I’m a fan of La Mer’s Soft Fluid Longwear Foundation and turn to it when I want lighter coverage, so I figured I’d probably like this cushion foundation too—and I was right. Full disclosure: I’m typically a full-coverage, matte kind of gal, and it takes a really good light/mid-coverage foundation to make me stray, so this is legit. My skin is plump, dewy, and fresh when I use this. If you want to splurge on a really nice foundation for yourself, this might be the one.—Marie

6Revitalash Volumizing Eyelash Primer and Mascara Set, $34.50

Skinstore

I’m a sucker for anything that will lift, curl, and add volume to my lashes. When Revitalash’s primer and mascara duo landed on my desk, I was more than eager to try it out. While the primer adds an extra step to my routine, I’m happy to report it didn’t disappoint. It gave me sky-high, fluttery lashes.—Alyssa

7Pat McGrath Blitztrance Lipstick, $38

Pat McGrath

If you want the Kira Kira app in lipstick form, Blitztrance is it. We’ve seen glitter lipsticks before, but this creamy, color-rich one from Mother is like no other. I live, I die, I am now a ghost that will haunt this lipstick. This will be on my lips for the next two months, even while I sleep.—Marie

8Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink City Edition Liquid Lipstick, $7.99

Maybelline

When this package arrived at my desk, I immediately applied the shade Ground-breaker, a rich red. However, the festive color isn’t even what blew me away. This liquid lipstick lasted through a three-hour dinner and two cocktails. I ate asparagus doused in oil, a greasy chicken, and cornbread with butter, and sipped on a margarita, and it still looked perfect. I didn’t have to touch up once. When I got home, I thought it would be hard to scrub off since it lasted the entire night, but nope. It easily wiped off with a makeup wipe. Basically, this is the best lipstick EVER.—Alyssa

9Marc Jacobs Beauty See-Quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow, $28

Marc Jacobs Beauty

I’ve tested a ton of glitter eyeshadows, so I’m a little jaded when I get a new one. HOWEVER, there’s something special about this Marc Jacobs line. The sparkle is turnt up! I’ve used this both alone on my lid and as a highlight on top of more subtle shadows, and it’s amazing both ways. It comes in six shades so you can wear a new one almost every day for a week.—Marie

10Mia Del Mar Overnight Miracle Glow Night Cream, $54

Mia Del Mar

This brand is made for Latinxs, by Latinxs. So, of course, I was super excited to try its first product, the Overnight Miracle Glow Night Cream. While this product is meant to be used at night, I’ve been loving it as my day moisturizer. I find that it keeps my skin soft, supple, and hydrated throughout the day. Plus, it mixes well with my primer and foundation. Another thing that I love is that the rose and lavender scent remind me of my abuela.—Alyssa

11Aquis Prime System, $99

Aquis

You may know Aquis as the brand behind those quick-drying hair towels (I looooves them), but it’s changing the hair care game with this new system. Aquis did a bunch of studies related to hygral fatique, or the wear and tear your hair goes through when it’s wet. Aquis’s system is made up of four steps, starting from before you wash your hair to after, all aimed at retaining your hair’s natural pH. This was certainly something I needed after all the processing my hair has been through over the past year. While “pre-washing” your hair takes getting used to at first, it’s not too hard of an adjustment. You simply just spray your hair with Step 1, the Water Defense Prewash, and then wash your hair at the end of your shower (the less amount of time it spends in the running water, the better). I’ve really been liking how much softer and less frizzy my hair is lately, and I’m crediting it all to Aquis.—Marie

12Fresh Limited-Edition Zodiac Sugar Lip Treatment, $26

Fresh Beauty

It’s officially Scorpio season (aka my season), so anything that has my sign emblazoned on its package is right up my alley. Of course, when Fresh announced its latest horoscope collection, I was thrilled that the brand decided to focus on the Sugar Lip Treatment line. Normally, it’s Sugar’s bath products that get the zodiac treatment. Best believe the Scorpio lip balm is staying in my purse all season long.—Alyssa

13Tom Ford Lost Cherry, $320

Sephora

If you’re a fragrance fan, you’ve probably heard about Tom Ford Lost Cherry. But first, can I say how delighted I am that cherries are in again? The ancient CD holder that I still have that’s embroidered with a big, corny cherry is now back in fashion. Anyway, this fragrance is really interesting. If you take a whiff of the bottle spout like a barbarian, you’ll be hit with a strong, medicinal, almost scary scent. But when you spray it on the skin, it settles in nicely, leaving a sweet, warm, spicy fragrance. It’s super sexy and mysterious. A perfect fall scent. If you’re a baller with some coins, save a spot for this olfactory treasure on your vanity.—Marie

14Mazz Hanna Alignment Face Elixir, $29

Mazz Hanna

When I’m overwhelmed, in a bad mood, or need a quick pick-me-up, I always spritz Mazz Hanna’s face mist. It not only lifts my spirit, but it hydrates my dry skin. Infused with clear quartz, this face mist will help you recharge and reset your energy, and I truly believe that. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I always feel relaxed, soothed, and refreshed when I spray this. Sometimes, that’s all I need to feel better.—Alyssa

15Love by Luna Zodiac Nail Polish, $18

Love by Luna

Alyssa and I are suckers for anything zodiac-related (as you can see from her zodiac-related pick above), so we were both excited about this new polish line. I particularly like how the polish is also infused with crystals for added magick. But that’s not all—each one has a different crystal that correlates to its sign. For instance, Scorpio is formulated with Obsidian, a crystal that is known to help uncover truths. According to the brand’s description, the stone will “help Scorpio bring unpleasant truths to the surface and heal subconscious trauma so that they may emerge more powerful than ever before.”—Marie

16MAC Girls Smarty Pants Palette, $41

Nordstrom

Say hello to my new BFF. This palette features eight warm neutrals in both matte and shimmer finishes and one highlighter shade. Since the theme is about school, just know that I totally geeked out when I used this palette. My fave shadows have to be French Lesson, a metallic burgundy and Whiz Kid, a shimmery rose gold. This palette gets an A+ from me.—Alyssa

17Farmhouse Fresh Vanilla Bourbon Body Oil, $19

Farmhouse Fresh

Because I’ve been dealing with dry skin (due to this weird ass, can’t-make-up-its-mind, California “fall” weather) I’ve gotten really into body oils. Farmhouse Fresh couldn’t have more perfect timing with this delicious vanilla body oil. It’s super hydrating, and also vegan and cruelty-free.—Marie

18OSEA Malibu Vagus Nerve Oil, $48

Osea Malibu

As of late, I’ve been really stressed. One way I know it’s bad, is that I start to bite my nails, which is what I’ve been doing lately. To make things worse, I haven’t been getting the best sleep. The only thing that has helped me de-stress is OSEA’s oil. Trust me, I thought it was hocus pocus at first, but I’ve found that it relaxes my body. Although the instructions suggests to rub it around the neck and behind the ears, I personally love massaging it on my temples (it especially helps when I get headaches). This and the face mist from Mazz Hanna are the perfect combo when I’m overwhelmed, and that’s the tea.—Alyssa

19Vive Cosmetics Luz and Glow Highlighter Duo, $21

Vive Cosmetics

I like to glow all year ’round, which is why I was super excited that my fave Latinx-owned brand launched a bronzer and highlighter duo. What I love the most is that the highlighter isn’t too intense. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely there, but it’s not overpowering. It gives my skin the right amount of luminosity. Plus, it doesn’t bring out my texture. I hate when highlighters do that. Of course, the bronzer shade gives me J.Lo vibes, so you know I’m ALL about it!—Alyssa
