October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase knowledge and raise funds to fight the pervasive disease. Breast cancer is more common in women than men, with one in eight women in the U.S. affected during their lifetime. According to breastcancer.org, more than 3.1 million women have a history of breast cancer in the U.S. as of January 2018.
Every October, fashion and beauty retailers release limited-edition products to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds usually go toward notable organizations spearheading breast cancer research, such as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Breast Cancer Charities of America, and countless more. This month, we’ve compiled the ultimate guide to beauty brands joining the fight against breast cancer. 2BIOMILK Probiotic Skincare
This October, Ouidad will donate $1 from every product sold to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The brand will also match donations up to $50,000 made to their Curls for a Cure foundation, with a promised minimum of $10,000.
For every one of RevitaLash’s limited-edition RevitaBrow Eyebrow Conditioner ($110) gift set, $2 will be donated to breast cancer research. Additionally, for every pink promotion sold, a RevitaBrow Eyebrow Conditioner will be donated to City of Hope’s Positive Image Center.
