For decades, makeup artistry in the fashion world has been pushing the boundaries between pure cosmetics and wearable art — and it keeps getting better. One of the most recent examples is the gorgeous akeup at the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi show during London Fashion Week, where the models looked like LITERAL human flowers.

The models for the Preen show had petals draped on their lips, cheeks, eyelids, and of course, petaled crowns in their hair!

The nature-meets-couture makeup was perfect for Preen’s pagan-inspired collection.

These flower lip looks are so intense, we can’t help but wonder if any of the models swallowed their petals!

These floral patterns are seriously so mesmerizing it’s impossible to look away.

The garden fairy theme wasn’t limited to the makeup either. Some models were fully reincarnated as heavenly plants!

Some of the full-faced flower designs looked lifted out of a storybook…

While others rocked a subtler, more modern floral look!

Do you feel brave or coordinated enough at breathing to pull off petals on your lips?! Or are you more of a flowered-back kind of girl?!

One thing is for sure, the cosmetic gardens displayed at London Fashion Week were a full-bloomed success!
