The quickest and easiest way to get movie star-worthy hair this summer

Summer is the perfect time to experiment with your look. But when the temperature is rising and you just can’t be bothered to try a complicated braid or fancy updo, a hair wrap is the perfect solution. There are days when I’ve realized my hair has been in a messy bun for a week, and it’s probably time to switch it up a bit. I loved the look of knit turbans during the winter, so having a lightweight alternative in the summer is a win for me! Plus the fun colors and patterns in our favorite scarves add the perfect pop to a plain outfit. My fave is this Echo Design Graphic Ovals Silk Scarf that comes in a bright neon yellow (perfect for sunny weather!).

In our latest tutorial, Birchbox staffer Deepica shows us an easy way to create four different looks with head scarves. Whether you’re a scarf minimalist and prefer a simple headband or a head scarf master and want to go all out with a turban, these styles will have you looking sophisticated all summer. Best of all, they look equally great with your hair pulled up into a ponytail or bun.
