This beauty vlogger proves you don’t need a makeup brush to look flawless

Whether you’re a certified beauty guru like Kandee Johnson or someone who admittedly doesn’t know what the hell they’re doing, there’s no denying the entertainment value of a makeup challenge.

In the past, we’ve seen YouTubers attempt to do their entire face with liquid lipstick or highlighters, not to mention there was the whole clown contouring thing.

Now, there’s a new challenge in town and it’s harder than both of those combined.

YouTuber MsAaliyahJay just started a new wave and the challenge is to do your entire face of makeup with NO BRUSHES. That means no BeautyBlender, no nothing. Aaliyah braved the challenge starting with moisturizer. Nothing too hard there, this’ll be easy, right?

Okay, first major task— brows.

Aaliyah bravely dipped her pinky nail into her brow pomade and…things got a little messy. Minor setback!

She masterfully corrected them with concealer.

Next up, foundation.

Not too hard. What could possibly go wrong?

Aaliyah was committed to doing every step she normally would, so she even set her highlight with banana powder.
