The live action “Beauty and the Beast” is dropping a trailer tomorrow and we can’t wait
Brace yourself, world — the live action version of the Beauty and the Beast, starring the incomparable Emma Watson as Belle, is finally dropping tomorrow.
The Beauty and the Beast official Facebook page shared the announcement earlier today, with a 13-second video clip of rose petals falling with the caption “Be our guest.” There’s not much to glean from the teaser, but we’ll be sure to get plenty of details when the trailer is officially released on Good Morning America tomorrow.

The teaser is very reminiscent of Disney’s first teaser trailer for the live action Cinderella, which featured a one-minute clip of the iconic glass slippers. Disney certainly knows how to get us interested in these live-action reboots by using classic imagery from the animated classics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
Beauty and the Beast is the latest in a slew of Disney classics transformed into live-action movies, which in addition to Cinderella includes Maleficent (a different take on the Sleeping Beauty story) and The Jungle Book. What sets Beauty and the Beast apart is that it will incorporate original music from the film, while the other reboots cut the musical numbers out, Cinema Blend reported.
While we all can’t wait to see Watson embody a Disney princess, we’re also pretty stoked for the rest of the illustrious cast too, including Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, and Stanley Tucci.
Even the original Belle herself, Page O’Hara, weighed in recently, sharing how pleased she is with the casting of Watson.
“I think she’s absolutely perfect for the role,” O’Hara told BuzzFeed. “She’s got the outward beauty, but she’s also got an inward beauty about her, and an old soul. Through mutual people we’ve sent messages, and I just basically was wishing her all the best and to have a wonderful time.”
