The first *human* picture of Dan Stevens as the Beast is here and oh la la

You’ve heard this asked before, “for who could ever love a Beast?” We’ve actually got an answer to that question, and the answer is US — especially if this so called “Beast” looks like Dan Stevens. Soon, we’re going to see him and his beautifully coiffed hair grace the big screen in Disney’s upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast and we seriously cannot wait.

Here’s to this being just the beginning of our tale as old as time with The Prince.

Two months ahead of the movie’s release, Disney has shared a handful of brand new posters, and we’re très excited. The usual Beauty and the Beast crew is here, with Belle, Gaston, and Cogsworth — and also the Beast. We’ve previously seen Dan Stevens all done up in his Beast makeup, but we haven’t actually seen him un-Beast…until now.

Please direct your attention to the first picture of Dan as the swoon-worthy, un-Beast, perfectly powder blue Prince. Yeah, we support everything going on here, 100%.

While this is great, and we’re big, BIG fans, don’t expect to see a whole lot of this face during Beauty and the Beast. Like you even need to be reminded of the story again, but here goes: The Beast is the Beast for like, 98% of the movie until the very end when Belle confesses that she loves him, too, and the spell is broken and everyone lives happily ever after!!

Here’s to hoping that Disney might alter this story a little bit, so the Beast turns into the Price a lot sooner in the movie. Dan Stevens as an IRL prince isn’t a dream anymore. It’s happening, and happening soon, just as certain as the sun will riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiise.
