The ‘Batman vs. Superman’ trailer is here and yes, we get to see Wonder Woman in it

What do you get when you take one part Batman and mix it with one part Superman? Add in a dash of Wonder Woman, too, and you’ve got the most epic DC Superhero movie ever. Don’t believe it? Then you’ve got to watch the brand new Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer a thousand more times. You’ll see.

If you’ve spent the last few months scratching your head, trying to figure out what turned Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent’s against each other, the trailer finally answers that burning question. During the final battle in Man of Steel (the first Superman movie to feature Henry Cavilll, and what set up this new cinematic universe), Superman kindaaa destroyed the Wayne Financial building.  That leads to one unhappy Caped Crusader, with Ben Affleck now donning the mask and cape. He’s out to stop Superman before he can destroy the planet.

And, what’s the one thing that really can stop Superman? Kryptonite. Know who’s got some Kryptonite? Lex Luther, played by an amazingly evil Jesse Eisenberg — who sports a full head of hair throughout the trailer, so that shaved-head look comes later. If that’s not enough for you, then we get our first REAL, and AMAZING look at Diana Prince by day, Wonder Woman by night, Gal Gadot.

The trailer is jam packed with so many other amazing parts of the DC Universe, it’s hard to keep track of them all. Amy Adams reprises her role as Louis Lane, Diane Lane’s Ma Kent shows up, Holly Hunter’s here too just cuz, we get a glimpse of the Batcave, and tiny reference to The Joker (who appears to have destroyed Boy Wonder Robin’s Suit!?). And somewhere in this movie, Aquaman is lurking, but this is already so much to take in. Just breathe.

THEN, Superman rips the roof off the Batmobile. Freaking out now. These guys can work out their differences in the end, right? …Right?
