Barbra Streisand just broke her own record, and it’s mega impressive

Okay, so we’re probably all aware that Barbra Streisand is a living legend, right? Yep, that’s old news.

But as Entertainment Weekly reports, her latest album Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway has a more significant wow factor than ever before…because it’s her 11th #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, breaking her own record as the female artist with the most #1 albums.

Let’s take a moment to process this information.

Billboard tells us this is a prestigious spot that Streisand shares with Bruce Springsteen. According to the stats, the only two artists who have more #1’s than them are The Beatles and Jay Z. So basically…GO GIRL!!

Streisand’s album is a compilation of duets with singers like Jamie Foxx, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, and more — singing Broadway favorites such as “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” and “Pure Imagination” (from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). There’s even a duet with Melissa McCarthy performing “Anything You Can Do.”

Here’s Streisand with Daisy Ridley, one of her duet partners!

And here’s Anne Hathaway in the recording booth.

Huge CONGRATS to Barbra Streisand and all the wonderful singers involved in this project. We honestly cannot wait to listen to our favorite celebs belt it out with her.

Keep doing what you do so unbelievably well!
