Barbie’s rad punk rock makeover

Internationally renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath created looks at Fashion Week for Givenchy, Prada, Diane von Furstenberg, Yeezy, Dolce & Gabbana and more. And now, she’s taken on a new high-profile client: Barbie.

McGrath partnered with @BarbieStyle to create four high-fashion makeup looks for the iconic doll for Paris Fashion Week. Barbie has rocked many looks in her day, but McGrath’s visions for her might be the edgiest yet. Take a look at her gorgeous masterpieces. We have serious eye shadow envy.

This blinged-out Barbie features Swarovski crystals, inspired by Givenchy’s face jewelry. That purple lip, though.

This punk rock Barbie was modeled after the 2013 Punk: Chaos to Couture Met Gala. She has serious a cat eye and an even more serious red sequin lip. And yes, her eyebrows are totally on fleek. Septum ring sold separately. (Check out McGrath’s inspiration post, too.)

Blue and yellow eye shadow for DAYS, inspired by an i-D magazine cover look McGrath created for Jessica Stam in 2004. (Plus another inspiration post!)

And this Barbie, inspired by her 2014 Versace vision, is totally working the bangs + turquoise shadow combo.
