Here’s every British star you love in one video

Can you believe we’re already more than midway through November? The holidays are rapidly approaching, which can only mean three things: endless cups of hot cocoa, toasty fires and good, charitable deeds.

This week, a group of British celebrities reminded us of exactly that (the good deeds part, I mean). Bob Geldof and Bono, along with thirty other musicians and performers, commenced as super-band, “Band Aid 30.” This comes 30 years after the original “Band Aid”, which included music legends like Boy George, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney and Sting. The charity supergroup raised millions of dollars for the famine relief effort in Ethiopia in 1984.

This time around, Geldof and Bono focused their fight on the Ebola epidemic. Just like the 1984 original, Band Aid 30 performed “Do They Know It’s Christmas” in a video released Monday. True to form, Geldof and Bono rounded up some of music’s heavy hitters, including Chris Martin (Coldplay), Karl Hyde (Underworld),  Sinead O’Connor, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Jessie Ware. In keeping with the year 2014, the group was also comprised of YouTube sensations like Joe Sugg and Alfie Deyes.

Needless to say, we’re happy to see this new crop of performers coming together for a good cause. It’s just another reminder to spread the love this coming holiday season. Check out the video below:
