“Bad Moms” is getting a Christmas themed sequel and we’re LOL’ing already

If you loved Bad Moms as much as we do, it’s official — they’re getting a Bad Moms Christmas sequel.

STX Entertainment, a mere two-year old company, says Bad Moms was their most successful release to date. Obviously, with that kind of following, making a follow-up is a no-brainer. Directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore will once again direct and the movie’s beloved cast Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn will also return to their hilarious characters who won’t disappoint.

“This is a brand that has enormous goodwill all over the world, so expanding and extending the Bad Moms franchise in an authentic and irreverent way has been a priority for our team, said STX Motion Group Chairman Adam Fogelson.

A Bad Mom’s Christmas is said to deal with stresses of their own mothers visiting during the holidays — a fantastic idea considering the original was aimed at over-stressed mothers in general. It only makes sense to explore this whole other dimension of the Bad Mom franchise.

“Mila, Kristen and Kathryn are excited to re-team, and we will move forward with A Bad Mom's Christmas’on a similar time table and in much the same way in which we produced the original.

Kristin already took to Twitter to confirm, making us that more excited:

It was also announced  a Bad Dad movie in the works with a tentative release date of July 2017 but no other news has been announced about it just yet. Surely, it will be just as funny!

With A Bad Moms Christmas set to arrive in theaters November 3rd, 2017, we’re already grabbing the popcorn.
